Description
The BG10M Concert Body is a bit smaller than a dreadnaught, focusing on mid-range and higher frequencies. Like the darker wood it is made from, it has a unique character different from spruce-topped guitars. This smaller body also makes it comfortable for players of any size.
African Okoume Mahogany is used on the top, back, sides, and Palaquium Mahogany is used on the neck of the BG10M, creating a warm and clear projection of sound. A dovetail neck joint transfers string vibrations evenly throughout the entire guitar, to ears, body, mind and spirit.
The fretboard is made from versatile and rare tonewood Merbau, sustainably harvested from the Kwila tree. It is known for strong bass response, notable sustain, and articulated highs, rounding out the tonal qualities of Bodhi Guitars. Advanced X-Bracing allows the top to vibrate more freely, further supporting a larger, richer sound.
